HoHeit is a streetwear brand founded in 2019 and based in Tokyo, Japan.

We started out as nothing more than ordinary boys on skateboards — the kind you find in any street.
We’d spend countless hours wandering through local skate shops, searching through rails and shelves for pieces we truly wanted. Most of the time, we came up empty-handed; and on the rare occasion we found something we liked, it was never in our size.

Back then, importing good gear on your own wasn’t easy. Whether we ever got our hands on the items we loved depended entirely on the taste — and luck — of the shop buyer.

Eventually, we found ourselves thinking:
“Why wait around for cool drops, or hope they’ll even make it to Japan? Why not create something of our own?”

And so our basket held no rare, expensive imports — just a Gildan blank tee and a few pots of acrylic paint.
